Keilor Park Soccer Club wishes to congratulate all Team/Clubs/Coaches/Team Managers on progressing to the quarter & semi final rounds of this year’s tournament.
A reminder to all teams to check the latest fixture’s (refer further below for link) for any changes/alterations to match times.
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT ALL PLAYER REGISTRATION CARDS (FFV ID’s) ARE MADE AVAILABLE DURING THE SEMI’s & FINAL’s ROUND OF MATCHES.
Keilor Park Junior Soccer Tournament 2008
Keilor Park Soccer Club is proud to announce that
this years Junior Soccer Tournament is once again
proudly sponsored by MAB Corporation and
Crivelli Coffee.
This year’s tournament is shaping up to be even more
exciting than the past, with 22 Clubs and 100 teams
already registered, the tournament will field
over 1400 players (including 200 girls) playing
a total of approx. 160 games, over 3 weekends.

The format of the tournament remains the same as previous years with a series of round robin matches deciding the teams to progress to the semi finals and finals in each age group.
We wish all tournament participants every success in the tournament which again is shaping to be one of the major junior tournaments on the soccer calendar.

Saturday/Sunday – 6th & 7th September 2008,
Saturday/Sunday – 13th & 14th September 2008, and
Saturday/Sunday – 20th & 31st September 2008 (semi finals & finals).

Mediterranean Night / Activity Calendar Amended

night in the environment of the Keilor Park Soccer Club clubrooms.

Passing of Otto Zambelli

Keilor Park Soccer Club is deeply saddened to advise the passing of Mr. Otto Zambelli.
Otto’s contribution to the history of the club as one of the longest servicing Club President’s remains well respected and admired.
On behalf of the supporters, players, members the committee of Keilor Park Soccer Club wishes to express our deepest condolences and sympathy to his family.

Women's Premier League 2008 kicks Off at Keilor Park
2nd April 2008
On the weekend our Women's Premier League teams held their first championship home games. The Club and Council have worked extremely hard to get the ground ready for the season start.
The referee's were extremely pleased with the state of the pitch and no issues were raised by the game officials in respect to the same.
The next home game is on Saturday, 5th April 2008 with the kick off of the Men's (Round 1) championship Division 1 State League competition.
On behalf of the Club and Committee, we would like to thank all for your patience and efforts in bringing the main pitch to the condition it is today.

Season 2008 kicks Off at Keilor Park
28th March 2008
Soccer is back at Keilor Park with the kick off of the 2008 season. Despite the difficult start to the 2008 soccer campaign, the round ball is about to return.
The Keilor Park Soccer Club Women’s teams commence with their first home game at Keilor Park Reserve against Sandringham with kick off time at 11.00am and 1.00pm on Sunday, 30th March 2008.
The Senior Men’s and U21’s teams are in action with their first home game against Springvale White Eagles with kick offs at 1.00pm and 3.00pm on Saturday, 5th April 2008.
The U18’s kick off the season on Sunday, 6th April 2008 with their first home game against Fawkner on Sunday, 13th April 2008 at 3.15 kick off.
For all those who have been starving for the round ball – we look forward to your support of our teams during 2008. |

Small Sided Games (SSG) - REGISTRATIONS EXTENDED

Due to overwhelming interest in the Small Sided Games (SSG) program for 2008, Keilor Park Soccer Club will be extending registrations for interested participates.

Small Sided Games (SSG)
11th March 2008
Keilor Park Soccer Club wishes to advise that the Club will be running the new FFV Small Sided Games (SSG) program this year. Small-Sided Games (SSG) are a modified version of football for boys and girls aged 5 – 8.
It is important that you register your interest to ensure you do not miss out. Registration days will be held at 7.00pm on both Wednesday, 26th March 2008 and Thursday, 27th March 2008 at the Club. A copy of birth certificate is required with fees upon registration.
The program will be held Saturday mornings from 10.00am to 11.30am commencing Saturday, 26th April 2008.

Pre-Season Training – Juniors and Sub-Junior Age Groups & Season Start Dates

The Committee of Keilor Park Soccer Club wish to advise that pre-season training for all junior and sub-junior age groups is anticipated to commence in the last week of February 2008 i.e. the week commencing Monday, 25th February 2008.
A review of the condition of grounds will be completed week commencing Monday, 11th February 2008 and confirmation pre-season training dates for all age groups will be confirmed in the same week on our website and via letter mail out.
Season competition start dates for 2008 are as follows:
Tuesday, 25th March 2008 – Women’s Premier League
Saturday, 5th April 2008 – Men’s State League I
Saturday, 5th April 2008 – U18 Super League
Sunday, 27th April, 2008 – Men’s Thirds Competition
Sunday, 27th April, 2008 – Junior’s (U11-U16 Girls and Boys)
Sunday, 27th April 2008 – Sub Junior’s (U9 & U10)
